630,000 sq ft office project delivered by Malaysia team

Appointed as Project Managers in April 2008, the successful delivery of this significant 37 storey office facility was all about planning, managing and delivering scale and volume to evolving client requirements. And with a total area of 630,000 sq ft this is the largest project yet managed by ISG Asia.

Through a quasi-Construction Management approach, 45 packages were ultimately procured which contained no fewer than four main contractor/general builder packages. This ensured that risk was evenly spread across the project whilst ensuring programme and quality levels were subjected to a certain degree of competition between package contractors.

Through the significant unbundling, extensive pre-qualification and tendering for each package, significant savings were made against the package bundles which resulted in the project being delivered well within the initial budgets set. The facility was successfully handed over to CIMB in August 2009.
